Provide levels of expertise such as field cleaning, farm infrastructure, harvesting, fermentation, drying and bean grading improvements. Cocoa is predominately a small-holder crop, but has great potential to increase rural incomes if productivity and quality can be improved. The root problems are related to lack of knowledge on best practices in sustainable cocoa production.
